Carrie leverages 15 years of fundraising experience as the Senior Manager of Foundation Partnerships at Education Design Lab. In this role, she cultivates transformative relationships with corporate and foundation partners to advance innovation in the learn + work ecosystem.

Prior to joining the Lab, Carrie served as the Vice President of Grants & Contracts at Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver, where she built a high-performing department capable of supporting $8M in funding annually. Before that, she established a new grants department at Arapahoe Community College as the Grants Development Director, securing nearly 50 grants and contracts totaling over $30M in external funding. Carrie also worked with Education Design Lab in a consultancy role prior to officially joining in January 2025. Her passion for fundraising was sparked by a project supporting faculty research on Colorado’s Japanese internment camps, which ignited a career spanning higher education, nonprofit human services, and international development. As a New Majority Learner herself, Carrie brings a personal commitment to forging transformative partnerships that bridge education and work, driving meaningful change for individuals, their communities, and the nation as a whole.
