Eric Regnell

Skills Designer

Eric brings an expertise in skills definition and curriculum development to Education Design Lab as a Skills Designer working on the XCredit and vsbl project. With a background in instructional design and micro-credentials, Eric is excited to explore new ways to validate skills for the future economy.

Prior to joining the Lab, Eric worked at NHED as an Administrator supporting computer science and civics initiatives for the state of New Hampshire. Prior to that, he worked as an instructional designer at SNHU and Northwell Health developing competency-based courses and micro-credentials. Additionally, Eric brings his own lived experiences as a luxury sales consultant and a USPS postal carrier to the Lab. With a deep understanding of how (l)earners gain skills through nontraditional education, Eric plans to help (l)earners validate the skills they already have through the Lab’s college partners and employers.
