Hannah Weinstock

Senior Director of Workforce Development, LaGuardia Community College

Hannah is dedicated to preparing New Yorkers from every background for the jobs of the future and
working collaboratively to strengthen the career pathways ecosystem across the New York metro area.

As Senior Director of Workforce Development at LaGuardia Community College, she oversees several
dozen workforce training and career skills certificate programs in sectors such as healthcare, technology
and construction.

Under the motto “dare to do more,” LaGuardia serves over 30,000 students each year, the majority of whom are low-income, first generation college students. Part of the City University of New York (CUNY), LaGuardia ranks 5th in the nation among community colleges for advancing economic mobility.

Previously Hannah oversaw healthcare workforce initiatives at the NYC Department of Small Business Services as well as community organizing, leadership development, civics, and English language programs at Queens Community House, New Settlement Apartments, Asian Americans for Equality and the New York Civic Participation Project, a union-community collaboration.

Hannah holds a Masters of Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School and speaks English, Spanish and Mandarin Chinese.
