Julienne Vinson

Julienne Vinson is so excited to join the Lab to lead the functional area of People + Culture.

Julienne is a results-driven, strategic thinker and education leader who brings transparency and clarity to talent and people functions. Her focus is to develop and drive a people strategy at every level of the organization by ensuring clear and transparent policies and procedures that improve the overall employee experience, and facilitating a strong culture of learning, equity, and joy. Her top priorities are defining and instilling the Lab Way throughout the organization.

Prior to joining the Lab, Julienne served in talent and culture roles at district offices in the Washington, D.C., metro area and for a family foundation. Julienne’s love of talent, organizational effectiveness, and culture stems from her background in psychology and her deep love of developing people, but also creating systems to allow people to do their best work.

Julienne holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Spelman College; a Master of Education in Psychological Counseling from Teachers College, Columbia University; and a Master of Education in Early Childhood Curriculum and Instruction from George Mason University.

When she is not focused on people and culture at the Lab, Julienne is spending time with her incredible children, Juliana and Jackson, her husband, Jamel, and her sweet dog, Polo.
