Leah Ben-Ami, EdD

Senior Ecosystem Designer

Leah Ben-Ami left Education Design Lab in November 2025. This is an archived post.

Prior to joining the Lab, Leah was the Director of Learning and Development and DEIB for both a technology company within the automotive industry and a large scale corporate enterprise that included consulting several nonprofits. As a Senior Ecosystem Designer, Leah will be working on the Texas Digital Economy Employer Engagement in addition to SHRM and Skills First-Adoption in Orlando.

She also worked at a university on non-degree credentials and associated research, and worked in the development and delivery of competency-based education (CBE) online and through alternative delivery models.

Leah is excited to join the Lab because it allows her to fulfill her purpose – “helping the helpers” in education, workforce development, and nonprofits.
