As an Assistant Education Designer, Maureen primarily supports Education Designers who are leading the BRIDGES Rural initiative and the Lab’s Participate operations. Maureen also enjoys helping across different Lab teams to understand and contribute to the realization of the Lab’s vision.
Maureen is passionate about access to education, formal and informal education, especially in underserved communities. She believes great education is practical, affordable, enjoyable, flexible, and most importantly, human. She hopes to continually innovate and learn how to improve education systems around the world.
Before joining the Lab, Maureen graduated from Tufts University with a degree in Engineering Psychology, which introduced her to the realm of human-centered design, especially in the evolving technology trends.
