Academy for Innovation in Higher Ed Leadership

The Academy, a partnership between Arizona State University and Georgetown University, is a premier training ground for those who aspire to senior leadership positions in higher education. The eight-month, design-based program focuses on bringing ideas to practice, linking theory to relevant applications, and scaling innovations in teaching and learning, leadership, finance, and technology that can transform higher education institutions today and in the future.

The Lab is providing the design training and project-based learning components for the curriculum.

Overview

The Lab was honored to be asked to help design a year-long cohort experience to help rising leaders in higher education prepare for transformation. The Lab co-facilitated the first two years of the training program in four in person sprint sessions, focusing on using human-centered design to consider how to unbundle university offerings to serve a fast changing world of work and learning.
