On April 24, George Mason University posted a press release describing the learning pilot phase of the Lab’s Apprenticeship Challenge. The Lab’s Design Challenges all push toward a learning pilot where the design partner puts the newly designed model into practice. The lessons from learning pilots refine design challenge outcomes and fuel scaling the new model. Design challenges also incorporate learning institution strategic needs:
“We are honored to be the first university to partner with Enstitute. With this partnership, we will push the envelope on one of our core strategic plan commitments: to create transformational learning experiences for all students that are collaborative, technology-rich, experiential and problem-based,” says Mason President Ángel Cabrera.
The Education Design Lab is very happy to have George Mason University and Enstitute collaborating in launching a learning pilot on the Apprenticeship Design Challenge and bringing students experiences that contribute to workforce readiness and foundations for life-long learning.Education Design Lab
