Over the years, the Lab has partnered with rural community colleges across the country to help create more economic opportunities, starting with our BRIDGES Rural project, which led to our current Rural College Design and Data Academy.
But how might you get involved if you aren’t participating with those specific projects?
Answer: RuralTogether, a digital community empowered by the Lab.
What’s the purpose?
To connect and support those working to improve postsecondary pathways for rural learners.
Who can join?
This is a virtual space to connect K-12 educators, college faculty, funders, government employees, and other folks interested in impacting rural education. Join us to share your questions + expertise!
What can you expect?
The community is built in the platform Circle, which helps organize discussion threads + resources in different categories. A few examples of resources include:
- Rural funding opportunities
- Rural conferences + proposal deadlines
- Best practices for building effective partnerships, centering rural learner voices + more
Once you sign up, head to the “Start here” section, where you can introduce yourself to the nearly 100 members who have already joined. We can’t wait to meet you!
